The wait is over! Today, Wednesday, June 5 2013, Dan Brown presented his Inferno in the Salone dei Cinquecento (Hall of the Five Hundred) in Florence.
Florence greeted the author with all the honors, and we are confident that Dan Brown is grateful to our city so rich in historical and artistic places that inspired him.
Dante, Vasari, Michelangelo, Lorenzo the Magnificent (Lorenzo il Magnifico)… relive all in Inferno with their stories and their mysteries.
Today Dan Brown cited Benigni, Mayor Matteo Renzi and all those who “love Dante”, thanking them for their contribution to the realization of his book.
As Robert Langdon, the protagonist of Inferno, even Dan Brown is the most sought after in Florence!
After today’s presentation Dan Brown will be back tomorrow, June 6 2013, at Palazzo Vecchio in the Salone dei Cinquecento, to talk with Vittorio Zucconi about the charm of the mystery, from which no one is excluded.
Repubblica delle Idee is organizing the event and it will surely be a success!

Sorry I missed him. I love Inferno. Dan has such an exquisite mysterious way of writing. One cannot put the book down until you have moved on to the next myster scene. What a magnificent book!
It took me a long time to get into reading Dan’s books but I can’t believe I waited so long.
I forgot to say that Dan is the reason I coming to Florence In May, 2014
